Fraserburgh Golf Club is home to one of Scottish golf's truest links courses. The club was established in 1777 before moving to its present location, the Philorth links, in 1891. Much of the present course was designed in 1922 by James Braid, the first man to win the Open five times. Set in Scotland's far Northeast corner 42 miles North of Aberdeen, the club is home to two courses and the Corbiehill, an 18-holer, is the most famous.

Originally a nine hole layout, the historic course, which dates back to 1891, is a stunning example of traditional links golf. With very bumpy fairways and greens that are well guarded by bunkers, this is a seriously enjoyable course.

The final hole is a long par-4 that features out of bounds all the way up the left side, so it's wise to stay clear, particularly if you have a good score in the making.
