One of the most prestigious courses in Scotland, if you get the chance to play at the Renaissance Club, you should jump at the opportunity.

Set on Scotland's Golf Coast on the east of the country, it has been host to the Genesis Scottish Open for several years, and is one of the best championship courses in the country.

A difficult and long test, it's a links course, but starts off away from the water. A testing run of holes starts, with the first five holes all requiring great ball striking to score well.

The sixth, a short par-3, is a treat. A small green is well guarded by run-offs and deep bunkers, so if you miss the green, you could run into trouble.

The signature hole comes on the 13th of the Scottish Open route, a stunning par-4 where a tee shot should be aimed over the coastline.

One of Scotland's best golf experiences.
