Situated one mile north east of Uphall and three miles from Broxburn, Oatridge is a terrific nine-hole golf course that was opened in 2000 by none other than Ryder Cup legend Bernard Gallacher.

This terrific par-35 track is located amongst gently rolling countryside at Oatridge Agricultural College, close to the village of Ecclesmachan in West Lothian.

Underestimate it at your peril - it has sharp teeth for those who mistake it for a pushover. Water hazards abound, with thick rough and mature trees also needing to be negotiated.

According to many who have played there, it is one of the best nine-hole courses in Scotland - if not the best - not to mention one of the country's friendliest places to play. It is, by every measure, a true 'hidden gem'.
