Originally designed as an 18-hole course by Dave Thomas - who previously worked on The Belfry, Terre Blanche and San Roque - Torrance House is now a superb nine-hole track.

It occupies a picturesque moorland setting near Motherwell in North Lanarkshire and, despite being 'just' a nine-holer, it will test every single club in your bag.

The par-3s are excellent and every bit as tricky as you'd expect, whilst the par-4s are well framed and require unerring accuracy off the tee.

Excellent value for money, Torrance Park is a fun, low-key place to play and well worth visiting.
