Lanark is a venue steeped in history. Established in 1851, it is the 25th oldest golf club in the world. Not only that, it also prides itself in being the world's oldest inland course. Originally designed by Old Tom Morris and George Sayers, and then later refined by James Braid, Lanark is renowned for its natural moorland fairways, large fast greens and glorious scenery. It really is one of Scottish golf's hidden gems.

The revered Old Course is a classic moorland layout built on top of ancient glacial sands. It is described by some players as an inland links due to its firm undulating fairways that drain freely and large fast greens played all year round. At 6,428 yards, this par-70 is a tough but fair challenge for golfers of all abilities.
