Lob shots require a lot of swing speed. By opening the face you will need enough speed to make the ball go the required distance. Speed also helps create height and spin, both essential to pulling off this shot.
Make a full backswing and allow the speed you have created to take you into a full finish. The ball will fly high and land soft. Next time you try the lob shot,
be brave and go for it!
