• ‘Cameron & Crown’ range features four new models

A week after Rory McIlroy confirmed he would be using a Scotty Cameron Concept mallet putter on tour, Titleist’s master craftsman has introduced his newest designs – ‘Cameron & Crown’ by Scotty Cameron.

With four models in the range, Cameron says each putter has been designed at 33 inches, one inch shorter than the standard 34 inches, and has been weighted for players who prefer using shorter putters.

The range features head designs from across Scotty Cameron’s portfolio – namely Select Newport 2, Select Newport M2 mallet, GoLo 5 and Futura X5 – with everything from a modern blade head to a high-MOI mallet included.

Cameron says this is ‘to satisfy the variety of strokes, styles and preferences of players at every level of the game’.

All of the putters have been made using multi-material technology with 6061 aircraft grade aluminium used for the face inlays, face-sole components and flange constructions. That is then combined with the 303 stainless steel body to give what Cameron believes is the ideal forgiveness and feel.

The new putters are completed with a raw stainless steel finish and a unique Silver Mist treatment.
