First up is the headliner of the range, the new Lynx Golf Black Cat driver. Its design includes the Lynx Spin Control System – a removable weight and reversible weight bar that impacts on spin and launch. By moving the weight forward, you will reduce spin and keep the flight lower, and by moving the weight to the back you’ll increase spin for a higher launch.
The 460cc two-piece titanium driver features cup-face design with a face-hardening treatment to increase ball speeds while reducing spin.
“Their feedback is that we’ve created an exceptional driver that delivers the perfect amount of loft adjustability and spin control” – Steve Elford, Lynx Golf CEO
Full adjustability means you can select a loft from between nine and 12-degrees, while also choosing a draw, neutral or fade bias if you’re looking for a particular shot shape.
Lynx’s Effective Energy Transfer technology sits behind the face and acts to increase the sweet spot and give more forgiveness across the face.

The Spin Control System is also present in the Lynx Golf Black Cat fairway wood with full loft adjustability from 13 to 16 degrees. They are complemented by the Lynx Golf Black Cat hybrids, which are available in 3(17Ëš) and 4(21Ëš) options.
Steve Elford, CEO of Lynx Golf UK, said: “The response from retailers and golfers to our Black Cat irons has been exceptional. It’s a marque that is instantly memorable for golfers who enjoyed playing Lynx in the past, while for more recent golfers, Lynx Black Cat is being positioned as a quality, technology-packed club range at sensible and affordable price points.
“Early versions of the Black Cat driver have been tested by several of our Lynx ambassadors and their feedback is that we’ve created an exceptional driver that delivers the perfect amount of loft adjustability and spin control, without needing a degree in rocket science to make it work.â€
