Jesper Parnevik, known for his 14 professional wins, Ryder Cup record, flipped brim caps and style on the course is making his long-awaited return to the PGA Tour this week following injury – and he’s coming back in style with the Cobra Puma Golf team.
The Swede has put pen to paper on a deal to play the brand’s equipment and wear their funky, vibrant range of clothing, beginning with this week’s Humana Challenge.
“I’m thrilled to be part of the Cobra Puma Golf team; they’re not afraid to do things a little differently,” said Parnevik, whose career was almost ended last year after a boating accident.
“I’ve played Cobra and worn Puma in the past. Both brands provide top performing gear that shakes things up on the course. I’m so excited to have the new 2013 gear ready to go and add my style to the line at the same time. Cobra Puma Golf is a great fit for me.”

Following the Humana Challenge, Parne will make an appearance at the 2013 PGA Merchandise Show at Cobra Puma Golf’s Demo Day (tee number 8) and booth (1143).
Parnevik turned professional in 1986 and has racked up a total of 14 professional wins since then, including five on the PGA Tour. A runner-up in the Open in both 1994 and 1997, he also played in the Ryder Cup in 1997, 1999 and 2002, and has spent 38 inside the top ten of the Official World Golf Rankings.
