This is one of the best courses on offer on Scotland's islands. It is a seaside parkland course that is moderately tight in parts, so anything less than a decent shot may find trouble.
The main competition in the Stromness golfing calendar is undoubtedly the Stromness Open, which, for the last 25 years or so, has attracted an entry list of up to 132 from all over the UK, with some even making the trip from Kenya, Canada, South African and Australia.
It is easily one of the most popular courses off the Scottish mainland and boasts wonderful views of Scapa Flow.
