Orkney boasts five golf courses - three of which are situated on the mainland, but if you fancy a bit of island hopping then be sure to take your clubs because Sanday is an experience like few others.
At just 2,600 yards, this glorious nine-hole links, just two miles north of the town of Lady, runs along one of Sanday's many beaches.
You may have to share the fairways with local sheep, though. So if you've never done that before, you're in for a treat!
