Correctly considered one of the best golf courses in Scotland, Royal Dornoch is an absolute treat. A majestic links course that was originally laid out in 1891 by the legendary Old Tom Morris, it has gone from strength to strength over the years.

Many golfers from around the world will make the pilgrimage to Dornoch every year to play the championship course, and when you play it, it's clear to see why.

The first hole is a gentle opener, but the par-3 second is an incredibly testing hole, that can ruin a score before it really gets going.

The walk to the third tee reveals one of the best views anywhere in golf, with the next section of the course clear to see.

Recent changes to the seventh and eighth holes have made these tricky, but excellent holes that compliment what is one of the best courses on the planet.
