Course Description

Portmahomack (Tarbat) Golf Club was founded in 1909 and sits in the beautiful little seaside village Portmahomack with great views of the Dornoch Firth and Moray Firth. It is a classic seaside nine-hole links course and an ideal starter before tackling the better known courses nearby such as Royal Dornoch and Tain.

It is anything but a walkover, however. A number of holes have sufficient armoury that could easily see you reload whatever the weather. For example the par four, 8th has been known to destroy a few score cards thanks to its elevated green and tricky approach shot.
