Inverness Golf Club has an enjoyable parkland course, characterised by narrow fairways that lead to small, well guarded greens.

This well manicured course has a relatively simple opening hole at just over 300 yards, followed by a par-3 that is tightly guarded with bunkers. At only 313 yards, the 6th hole requires caution from the tee as a long drive may reach the burn that guards the green. Then, an approach shot needs to be well struck to avoid the hazard.

The 14th,"Midmills" is one of the toughest tests you're going to find on a golf course in the north of Scotland. Dog-legging to the right, cut off too much from the tee and the green is shut out from view by tall trees. If you can make a five here, you've done well.
