The 800-year-old Royal Burgh of Forres can be found nestled between the Moray Firth to the north and Farquhar Hills to the south.
Its golf course celebrated its centenary year in 1989. James Braid designed the original 9 holes and in 1912 Willie Park extended it to 18 holes. The course boasts tree-lined fairways and spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.
The infamous 16th hole provides a watery grave for many stray balls. The apres golf can be enjoyed in the pleasant surroundings of the clubhouse for an ideal conclusion to your day.
