Cawdor Castle dates back to the late 14th century and was built as a private fortress by the Thanes of Cawdor.
It boasts magnificent Scottish history and its golf course, despite being relatively short, is equally impressive.
The nine-hole course sits at 1, 429-yards and holds a remarkable course record of 27 which will take some beating, but we can't think of many better challenges to have a go at.
