Scottish Golf Courses

Thousands set for Edinburgh

THERE is only one place for any golfer to be this March as the Scottish Golf Show rolls into the Royal Highland Centre in Ingliston for the first time since 2012.

The ideal place to kick-start your golfing season, the Scottish Golf Show will be bringing you its best ever collection of exhibitors, its best ever selection of products to test, and most significantly, its best ever pre-booked ticket offer.

For the small sum of £16, you’ll get admission to the show on one of the three exhibition days, March 28-30, as well as:

  • 3 free rounds of golf, or:
  • Two free rounds of golf and a holiday voucher worth £50, or:
  • Two holiday golf vouchers and a free round of golf.

Buying all of these separately would set you back at least £150, so be sure not to miss out.

The holiday vouchers are being given by two of the most reputable names in the golf travel industry – Golf Kings and YourGolfTravel.com – whilst you have the pick of some of the best courses in the country for your free rounds.

The Roxburghe and Macdonald Cardrona are both courses with a championship pedigree, while the Struie course at Royal Dornoch and Machrihanish Dunes are magnificent links options. There are some hidden gems in there, too, with Brunston Castle, Kinross and Woll all options, while Gleddoch, Glenisla, King’s Acre, Macdonald Linden Hall, Westerwood, and Whitekirk are all fantastic courses.

With such a wide-ranging selection of courses to choose from, you’ll be sure to find plenty to tickle your fancy.

This year, the showwill play host to its biggest ever collection of top brands and equipment manufacturers.

Callaway, TaylorMade, Mizuno, Titleist, Nike, Yonex, Ping, John Letters, Benross, Srixon, and Lynx, will all be at the show making it the ideal place for all the gear nuts out there to get to grips with the latest products for 2014.

Whether it’s the new Big Bertha Alpha, the new Ping i25s or any other new gear that you’re interested in, you’ll find it all under one roof at the Scottish Golf Show.

There are also 32 indoor driving bays where you can try the new gear and, if you like them, you can buy them in the huge retail shop, operated by Europe’s No.1 golf retailer, american golf.

The YourGolfTravel.com Tiger Chip Challenge gives you the chance to play your way to brilliant prizes if you can recreate Tiger Woods’ unforgettable chip-in from the 2005 Masters.

There’s also the Golf Kings Hole-in-One Challenge and the Long Putt Challenge where you can get your hands on some goodies. With four other bespoke putting greens you will have plenty of opportunities to hone your putting stroke for the new season.

If you need some advice away from the putting green then there will be a team of PGA pros on hand to deliver free lessons for all show customers, while we have a specialised junior zone for all the budding Rory McIlroys.

This will be a year to remember for golf in Scotland, and you’ll be able to have your photo taken with Scotland’s biggest ever collection of golf trophies at the show. The Ryder Cup, Claret Jug, Solheim Cup, and the Scottish Open trophy will all be in attendance.

With over 100 exhibition stands to browse, and even the show’s own 19th Hole, operated by Glasgow’s famous West Brewery, the Scottish Golf Show has everything you could possibly want.
