Sirene Belek upgraded after investment

Resort still regarded amongst best in region

One of the pioneers of developing golf holidays to Belek, the Sirene Belek Hotel has ensured it remains one of the premier destinations in the region by continuously investing in the resort.

During winter this year, Sirene Belek completed a redesign and upgrade of all facilities near the beach, including shops and food outlets, while also completely refurbishing all of the bathrooms in the main building to the same standard as the villas, which have proven very popular in recent years.

On top of that, the resort also rebuilt its amphitheatre in a more modern style and painted and landscaped all exteriors of the villas.

APPEAL

Particularly popular with golfing groups, there is always a great atmosphere within the hotel and, in an area where you are spoilt for choice, the golf on offer at the Sirene Belek Hotel and Antalya Golf Club means it still has amazing appeal.

The two courses at Antalya Golf Club - the Pasha and the PGA Sultan - are both consistently presented in great condition, with each layout presenting a different challenge.

The Pasha is the shorter of the two but is certainly no pushover. Its smaller greens mean accuracy is at a premium, with well placed tee shots necessary to shoot a good score.

The PGA Sultan, meanwhile, is the championship layout at the club and is still one of the most requested courses by golfers visiting the area. Boasting a great variety of holes and a fair amount of water, there are plenty of holes that will last long in the memory.

The Sultan famously hosted Tiger Woods and Lee Westwood in a field of eight leading players that participated in an exhibition event, called The Final, the precursor to the Turkish Airlines Open that now forms part of the season-ending events on the European Tour.
