Entries are being sought for the 2018 Yorkshire Challenge, a unique event that sees more than 220 pairings compete at the English county’s trio of courses that have previously staged the Ryder Cup, Ganton (1949), Lindrick (1957) and Moortown (1929).
All players must be a member of a recognised club and possess a CDH number and active handicap.
Tournament Director Luke Allen said of this year’s event: “It was another great three days, the feedback from the competitors about the courses and the smooth running of such a big field to ensure that everyone was on time and knew what was happening at the other courses was excellent. On the course it was an exhilarating finish with the title being decided by the very last putt, the only negative was that there were no winners of the £5,000 prize for a Hole in One, hopefully someone will collect the cash next year.”
Entries for the 2018 Yorkshire Challenge open in December for the event.Further details can be found at yorkshirechallenge.co.uk
