Play with Rory and co as European Tour opens up new Travel Club

By joining, you could get the unique opportunity to play with world’s best

Golfers now have the chance to play a round of golf with some of the game’s best players after the European Tour announced the launch of its new Travel Club.

In partnership with golfbreaks.com, the European Tour Travel Club will offer golf fans unique experiences to combine breaks away with once-in-a-lifetime rounds, including the chance to play in the Pro-Am at a European Tour event, meaning you could be playing a full round with one of the tour’s top stars.

Another exciting concept to be run through the Travel Club is the ‘Sunday Pins on Monday’ offer. This lets you, as an individual or as part of a group of friends, book to play on a full tournament course the day after an event, giving a taste of what it’s like to compete on the European Tour.

For example, you can play the famed Palmer Course at the K Club less than 24 hours after the conclusion of this summer’s Dubai Duty Free Irish Open. A two-night Sunday Pins on Monday package starts from £689 per person.

Keith Pelley, chief executive of the European Tour, said: “People are increasingly seeking unique experiences on holiday and golfers are no different.

“Yes, they want the best courses and great accommodation, but never before have they been able to access our Pro-Am tournaments or play tournament courses on our schedule as part of a European Tour Travel package.
