You may be surprised  to learn that there is a long tradition of quality golf in the Czech Republic. The first golf courses opened in the west of the country in spa towns on Karlovy Vary in 1904 and in 1905 in Marianske Lazne.

Since then, the country has hosted many international golf events including European Tour, Ladies European Tour or Senior European Tour.

With more than 100 golf courses to choose from, the Czech Republic is a haven for golf tourists.

Beyond West Bohemia, home of golf for local golfers, there is an increasing selection of great courses around Prague. You can play more than ten different venues, most of them within an hour’s drive from the heart of the city.

In addition to this, there are many attractive courses in the other parts of the Czech Republic, for example in the areas of South Moravia or North Moravia.

ATTRACTIVE

Easy and fast access from the majority of the UK airports (it takes only about two hours from Edinburgh or Glasgow) to Prague airport makes your trip to the Czech Republic very attractive, too.

All this, plus the beautiful countryside, many historical highlights, attractive sightseeing, local cuisine, special beer and wine experience, excellent nightlife and great value for money will add serious depth to any golf break.

The Czech Golf Festival  could be your ticket to this wondrous experience (see  czech-golf-festival.com). Taking place from July 15, 2018, enjoy a new golfing and cultural experience in Prague, its unique nightlife, and get to play one of the newest courses in the country, the truly incredible Panorama Golf Resort, above.

Four nights and three rounds of golf in Prague, including Albatross (European Tour venue since 2014), daily breakfast, welcome and prize presentation dinner, private sightseeing tour of Prague, all airport and golf transfers from £569 per person.

OFFERS

If you can’t make that week, come any time from April to October during golfing season in the Czech Republic and experience the country then. Two nights and two rounds starts from just £249, with seven nights and five rounds from £699 per person. Prices based on a minimum of four golfers sharing twin rooms, including breakfast, all airport and golf transfers, meet and greet on arrival as well as assistance by an English speaking rep during the tour.
