Beachcomber Tours unveils details of paradise package
Golfers are being offered ‘the ultimate social golfing holiday’ to Mauritius courtesy of Beachcomber Tours. The top travel operator has created a package that is designed to give keen golfers the opportunity to enjoy some fantastic competitive golf, as well as tuition, practice and entertainment, at the Paradis Hotel &Golf Club on the paradise island this December.
The trip is priced from £2,140 for golfers and from £1,840 for non-golfers sharing and includes returns flights from Heathrow (alternative airports are available), seven nights at Paradis Hotel & Golf Club on a half-board basis with options to extend, and four rounds of golf: three at Paradis and one at the Heritage Golf Club, just 20 minutes away.
Unlimited range balls and free extra social golf will also be available at Paradis, with informal individual coaching and six group lessons - lasting at least 90 minutes - provided by PGA professional Jeremy Dale.
Dale, one of the world’s leading golf trick-shot artists, will also be provide much of the entertainment and will be one of your hosts for the week, joining you in the bar each night for drinks and informal dinners.
“Golfers love to improve, love to compete with each other and love to be entertained, so a golfing holiday on which they can do all three seemed the perfect idea,” explained Dale.
A Beachcomber Tours spokesperson added: “The trip is designed to be all about meeting new people, playing friendly competitions on two great golf courses, developing your skills, and escaping the northern-hemisphere winter.”
Mauritius has long been one of the world’s most aspirational golfing destinations. Located in the Indian Ocean, approximately 2,000km off the south east coast of the African continent, it is home to 11 absolutely spectacular golf courses.
From the five-star Belle Mare Plage Resort on the north east of the island, where there are two sumptuous 18-hole courses to choose from, to Le Touessrok, contained within the tiny island of Ile aux Cerfs, it is a spectacular place to play.
There is also much to do off the course, too. The island’s capital, Port Louis, is full of interesting markets to explore, whilst the ‘Seven Coloured Earths’ has to be seen to be fully appreciated.
Combine all of this with a tropical climate, glorious golden beaches and crystal clear waters that are perfect for indulging in some jetskiing, waterskiing, snorkelling and more, and you have all the makings of a truly unforgettable golf holiday of a lifetime.
Pay it a visit - we can guarantee tht you won’t be disappointed
