Former Open champion Paul Lawrie has joined Colin Montgomerie in agreeing an exciting partnership with independent Scotch whisky distiller Loch Lomond Whiskies. The up-and-coming brand, which is 'The Official Spirit of The Open' for the next five years after striking a deal with The R&A, released a 'Paul Lawrie Autograph Edition' whisky to mark the Scot's return to Carnoustie – where he captured the Claret Jug – and Lawrie was delighted to get onboard.
"I'm genuinely thrilled to begin working with the experts at Loch Lomond Whiskies, who share my passion for arguably two of the country's most loved exports – golf and whisky."
