Lawrie joins Kirsty for Spanish gig

Former Open champ Paul Lawrie heads a 300+ field taking part in the annual Pinmar Golf charity event at Mallorca’s No.1 golf destination, Son Gual.

And the popular Scot will be joined in Spain by Sky Sports TV presenter Kirsty Gallacher.

Well established as one of the island’s biggest charity events, the Pinmar Golf has raised almost €850,000 for causes in its 28 previous outings. The event is the first to be attended by Lawrie in his new role as golf ambassador for Pinmar.

Son Gual’s €30m layout celebrates ten years this year. It features huge lakes, 66 bunkers, 800 olive trees - some more than a thousand years old - wild flowers in the rough and vineyards.
