‘HELLO, WORLD. WE’VE BEEN EXPECTING YOU.’

TWO TEAMS. ONE HOME OF GOLF. THE RYDER CUP RETURNS TO SCOTLAND.

THE eyes of the world are set to fall upon Gleneagles at the end of September as the Perthshire resort plays host to the 40th edition of the Ryder Cup.

Golf’s biggest event makes its return to the country that gave birth to the game for the first time since 1973 after what has, at times, felt like an interminably long build-up.

Paul McGinley will hope to lead Europe to what would be a seventh win in the last eight matches. His opposite number Tom Watson, meanwhile, will be hoping his experience and guile will help inspire a US side that will no doubt still be smarting from their incredible defeat at Medinah two years ago.

In Gleneagles, the 40th Ryder Cup has a perfect host venue. In Scotland, it has a country where golf pulses through the veins of the people who live here and which has the sport woven into its very fabric.

In short, the stage is set for another unforgettable edition of the greatest show in golf.

Ryder Cup UK TV Schedule

Live coverage of the 2014 Ryder Cup match at Gleneagles is only available on Sky Sports, who will have a channel dedicated to all things Ryder Cup and is set to show over 330 hours of golf across 14 days. Two hour highlight packages, meanwhile, will be broadcast on BBC 2 in the evening after each day of competition.
