Keen to get your kids into golf this close season but not sure where to go for the best  child-friendly equipment?  Look no further than GolPhin.

The Ayrshire company is leading the way in the drive to inspire the next generation of golfers by designing and manufacturing innovative junior golf clubs and by providing fun and engaging learning materials.

GolPhin offers a range of clubs developed in partnership with PGA professionals and Strathclyde University’s biomechanical department and which are specifically designed to match the physical attributes of children aged from three to 14.

EXPANDED

Following the successful unveiling of its entry-level set in 2014 – which were 22% lighter and 35% larger than traditional junior clubs, making it easier to swing, control, stay balanced and hit the ball – the company expanded its product line-up earlier this year with the introduction of GFK+.

Launched at the Scottish Golf Show in Glasgow, GFK+ is designed to make the transition from GolPhin’s beginners’ to full-size adult golf clubs a much more seamless one.

Testament to the quality of the clubs is the fact that the R&A has chosen GolPhin as an exclusive supplier for junior coaching at the Open Championship in recent years. It is also an exclusive supplier to the David Leadbetter Golf Academies, a preferred supplier to the Titleist Performance Institute and a product supplier for the Ernie Els Foundation.

Former European Tour pro Ronan Rafferty is a huge fan, describing GolPhin’s products as the ‘best kids’ clubs I’ve ever seen’. “GolPhin’s range of clubs help kids to learn and enjoy golf from the very beginning,” he added. “The clubhead design and properly flexed shafts get the ball airborne so quickly.”

Junior golf PGA coach Clare Marie Macaulay recommends GolPhin clubs to all her students. She said: “GolPhin’s range of product is ideal for both beginners and advanced juniors.  The GFK beginners clubs are so easy  to swing and get the ball in the air.  GFK+ clubs are great as the kids develop towards competition golf.”

The company also offers a fantastic range of accessories, including balls, caps and golf club covers.

“Our purpose is to provide better and more bespoke opportunities for children to get into golf,” explained company founder Calum McPherson. “Our beginners’ club are 22% lighter than other junior golf clubs with a 35%  larger sweetspot, whilst our GFK+  range has been tested against all  other leading junior clubs and proven to outperform all other brands. If you are serious about getting your children into golf, we can seriously help you do that.”
