2019 Solheim Cup set to be best in history

THIS YEAR'S SOLHEIM Cup is set to be the biggest and best ever with thousands of tickets already sold and hundreds of volunteers signed up to help out throughout the week.

In addition to this, the biennial event, set to take place at Gleneagles from September 13-15, has received sponsorship from a significant number of partners.

Some ticket categories are already sold out and the Volunteer Application Programme is over-subscribed by as much as 100%.

European captain Catriona Matthew will be aiming to return the trophy to Europe after their defeat in the 2017 match on American soil and Joe FitzPatrick, minister for public health, sport and wellbeing, cannot wait. "We are delighted at the incredible support we have received to host the 2019 Solheim Cup," he said.
