Callaway wedge gets slick new finish

• Callaway to release PM-Grind wedge in Matte Black
• Phil Mickelson had direct input in the club’s design
• The Matte Black finish was requested by Tour players

The Phil Mickelson-designed Mack Daddy PM-Grind wedge from Callaway is set for a new release in an all-new finish.

The wedge, which came out last year and was influenced heavily by five-time major winner Mickelson, will now be available in Matte Black due to overwhelmingly positive feedback on the finish from Tour players.

Featuring the same great technologies that made the Mack Daddy PM-Grind such a popular choice, the wedge has a unique shape so players can be aggressive with their short game, while it also has a larger surface area and 39% more groove area that goes all the way across the face.

Add into that a high toe that moves the weight higher and it results in a versatile club that lets players accelerate through the ball and go after every shot – even when playing a flop out of a bunker or deep rough.
