The Faas Lite Mesh is spikeless, and is suited as much to everyday life as it is the golf course. It has the look of a regular sports shoe, with all the benefits of a golf shoe and sports trainer combined.
Whether you’re wearing them when biking, for a session at the gym, or just out casually, they cover it all. Grant Knudson, head of footwear for PUMA Golf, tells us more.
“The Faas Lite 2.0 combines technology with comfort and style, creating a shoe that you will want to wear whether you’re walking, grabbing dinner with your friends after a round, or even heading to the gym,†explained Knudson.
“The Puma Golf 2.0 version includes new, strategically-placed support pieces that provide increased stability and added support during your swing.â€
Weight – The shoe is constructed from lightweight mesh, offering a minimal single layer mesh for enhanced breathability and reduced weight.
Performance – The shoe features SmartQuill traction technology that provides directional grip elements to enhance ground contact for improved balance and traction.
Support – A stitchless midfoot support saddle gives additional support where you need it most – during your swing. The Ortholite Sockliner offers fantastic cushioning, while corrugated flex grooves provide flexibility and better ground contact throughout your swing.
Comfort – FaasFoam+, a proprietary blend of foam and rubber that is 25% lighter than the previous foam used, gives greater step-in-comfort. EverFoam is also strategically positioned in the collar of the shoe, allowing it to adjust to the contours of your foot. A new padded mesh tongue is included, providing extra comfort and increased breathability.
Durability – Carbon rubber, a high abrasion resistant material, provides excellent grip and long-lasting durability so you can wear them time and time again.
The Look – The Puma Golf Faas Lite Mesh 2.0 is available in three new colourways: Turbulence/White/Grenadine, White/Black/Silver and Grenadine/White/Turbulence. Each shoe comes with two laces, one tonal, and one pop of colour, for golfers to customise their footwear to suit their style.
The Puma Golf Faas Lite Mesh 2.0 golf shoes are priced at £70 and are set to hit the market on June 1.
