A top rated golf club in the historic town of Kirkcudbright, within Dumfries and Galloway, Kirkcudbright Golf Club has an 18-hole parkland course of excellent quality and variety.

Sat above the southern edge of the town, the course offers views of the town and harbour, the Galloway Hills and the Dee Estuary.

There are some gentle slopes to climb but golfers are rewarded with these magnificent views, while the unique test on the course is every bit as enjoyable. Founded in 1893, it was redesigned in 1978 to incorporate new holes and make it an 18-hole layout.

Vibrant gorse bushes run along the streams that can be found throughout the course, while there are plenty of tricky bunkers to navigate if you are to put together a nice round at Kirkcudbright. Don't walk by the clubhouse on your way out, as it is well-regarded for it's award-winning Thai food.
