The course is just a two minute walk from the caravan park that is part of the estate, and it is landscaped with natural woodland and man-made features.
The entrance to the golf course is worth the extremely reasonable green fee alone, but the nine hole course is proper value for money.
At just over 2,000 yards, though, it packs a punch and there can't be too many complaints about the setup and course condition.
Hoddom Castle is the ideal place for a weekend break, as after the golf you can enjoy a bit of fishing, a countryside walk or even a game of tennis.
