Gatehouse of Fleet Golf Club

Gatehouse of Fleet golf course is a unique nine-hole test in the Fleet Valley with glorious views of Wigtown Bay, the Clints of Dromore and the Cairnsmore of Fleet. It is kept in exceptional condition and can be played all year round with no winter greens due to a superb draining system.

The ninth at Gatehouse has been listed amongst Britain’s 100 Extraordinary Golf Holes, making this course well worth the visit just for this testing hole alone. The par-3 requires pinpoint accuracy as you hit over gorse from an elevated tee with a stunning view out to the Irish Sea.
