Annodata to support 2016 Golf Awards

Scotland's national governing body for amateur golf has been given a further sponsorship boost with the announcement of Annodata, one of the UK’s leading managed service providers, as the new headline partner for the Scottish Golf Awards.

The event, which takes place this year at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange on March 11, brings golf fans together to celebrate the achievements of Scotland’s golfers and golf clubs from the past 12 months, and has grown into a hugely popular occasion on the country’s golfing calendar.

Having supported the Scottish Golf Awards as headline sponsor in 2011 and 2012, Annodata returns this year as Scottish Golf begins its first full year as a unified body.

The event has generated almost £50,000 for the Scottish Golf Charitable Trust over the past two years through its fundraising activities, attracting more than 600 guests on each occasion.

“We are delighted to renew our sponsorship of the Scottish Golf Awards, particularly with the event being the first since the amalgamation of the two governing bodies,” said Dan Rhoda, Annodata’s regional director for Scotland. “It has been another successful season for golf at all levels of the sport and we are looking forward to celebrating those achievements in March.”
