Peebles Golf Club prides itself as the jewel in the Scottish Borders golfing crown.
It is one of the most picturesque courses in the whole country, shadowed by the rolling Border hills and Tweed valley, and set high above the beautiful town of Peebles. The parkland layout, which is open to play all year round, has a par of 70 and measures just over 6,100 yards. There are tough opening holes but a generous stretch around the turn will allow players to make ground midway through their round. The 18th hole, known as Green Mantle, is the longest on the course, with the par-5 played towards a challenging, narrow green in front of the clubhouse.
