Shiskine is one of the more unusual courses you'll ever play.

The club was founded in 1896 with an accompanying nine-hole links designed by Open champion Willie Fernie. Before the first World War, two-time Champion Golfer Willie Park Jr was tasked with extending the course to 18, as well as upgrading Fernie's original nine.

However, during the conflict, six of the new holes were left neglected. As a result, Shiskine is a quirky 12-hole layout that has achieved cult status.

About as natural a links as you'll ever play, if you like blind shots then this is the golf course of your dreams, and you'll need to trust your judgment on almost every hole.

A special golfing experience.
