Ballumbie Castle is a glorious parkland ideally located on the outskirts of Dundee. With a driving range and welcoming clubhouse, the course that opened in 2000 has proved a fine addition to the local golfing landscape. The terrain sweeps and turns with no two holes the same and it is more accommodating to a considered approach. Most clubs in the bag will be used but not necessarily a driver off every tee, especially for the first six holes where position is more important than distance. At a length of 6,019 yards, don't let the fact that this is a par-69 deceive you. The 18-holes provide a varied challenge for all golfers before a visit to the warm, friendly Ballumbie Castle 19th.
