Lockerbie Golf Club was founded in 1890 and sits overlooking the picturesque borders town of Lockerbie. The many vantage points on the course offer spectacular views over fertile rolling hills towards the Lake district in the south and Dumfries to the west.

On the whole Lockerbie is a forgiving course while still presenting some stiff challenges to excite the more adventurous golfer. A serene water feature comes into play on no less than three holes and woe betide any golfer who is distracted by the wildlife as they strive to avoid water with their approach shots.
