Troon Darley is a par 72 heathland links at 6, 313-yards and was recently rated in the top ten of Scotland's most challenging golf courses.

Tight, undulating linksland fairways are bordered on both sides with unforgiving heather and swathes of craggy gorse. The par four fifth hole requires an accurate carry of some 180-yards from the tee to establish an ideal or more playable approach to the green.

Meanwhile, the aptly numbered 13th, a par four, demands a good strategy to negotiate the burn whilst remaining within the confines of the course.
