Situated one mile west of Gullane, near Muirfield, is Luffness New, an Open qualifying course when the championship heads to East Lothian.

In all honesty, this is one of the most beautiful parts of Scotland in which to enjoy a game of golf. This course is widely famous for its greens, which are rumoured to be amongst the best in the region.

The 196-yard par three third is the signature hole. Depending on the weather it can be anything from a 7-iron to a 3-iron. Get it wrong and you could be in trouble as the next hole is a tough par five at 531-yards.
