The Bruntsfield Links is the fourth oldest golf club in the world, dating all the way back to 1761.

The historic venue is located just three miles from Edinburgh city centre. It is a fine 6446-yard parkland course that was first designed by Willie Park Jnr with modifications from the world-renowned Dr Alistair Mackenzie.  And the fact R&A chooses this course for Open qualifying tells you everything you need to know about the quality of this varied treelined layout. The friendly clubhouse, which has magnificent views to the north over the Firth of Forth and to the west, boasts visitors' lounges and excellent changing facilities.
