At 6, 388-yards and with a par of 72, this Dave Thomas-designed course is popular with the locals and golfers from further afield. Whilst it may not be as mentally challenging as the Hawkshill course, the big brother course at Newmachar, it nevertheless provides a test all of its own with some well-positioned bunkering and testing greens.

It has been constructed on rolling countryside where some 26, 000 trees have been planted which give character to the layout.
