Newburgh on Ythan GC is a Championship Links founded in 1888 and is located where the mouth of the River Ythan meets the famous North East coastline. It is situated a mere 2 miles from the location of the proposed Donald Trump International Golf Course.

The course is characterised by undulations and hills, with elevated tees and greens requiring a range of shot making. The inward nine demands accurate golf from tee to green and is the epitome of the traditional Scottish links course. The course now plays 6423 yards, Par 72.

Newburgh on Ythan GC is noted for the quality of its greens, its playability (360+ days per year) regardless of the weather conditions and its maganificent setting and spectacular views. Our splendid clubhouse was opened in 2001 by Paul Lawrie (winner of the British Open in 1999). The Paul Lawrie Junior Classic has become an annual event at Newburgh on Ythan GC.
