Lumphanan Golf Club

At 1, 859-yards, Lumphanan is a claadssic hillside nine-hole course. Its par three and par four holes are a test of accuracy where you must rise to the challenge of narrow fairways, bunkers and complex greens.

During the recent club redevelopment designers took full advantage of the outstanding natural characteristics afforded to create memorable holes, many of which offer spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The shot from the elevated par three ninth requires precision and a choice to play over the ancient beech trees or through a gap between them.

This is one of numerous holes that typically combine natural character and challenge for which Lumphanan's course is renowned.
