Longside is a small and charming course on the outskirts of the village. It is situated in some of Scotland's most fertile farmland amid the rolling pastures. A prominent feature of the course is the River Ugie which runs through the course.
The nearest town is Peterhead on the coast, although Longside is inland itself. The signature hole is the par five eighth. This is the longest hole on the course and is also the most difficult. Your drive has to be long and accurate to give yourself a chance here. A ditch must be negotiated with your second shot and the river flirts with your third. Bunkers on the left and the river again at the back protect the green. View website www.longsidegolfclub.co.uk for more details. GREEN FEE KEY: £1-£15=£ £16-£30 = ££ £31-£50 = £££ £50+ =££££ |
