Insch Golf Club extended its course from nine holes to 18 in 1997. Funding was made possible for this through the National Lottery, the Foundation for Sports and Arts, the R&A and the members paying a levy. This course is often described as the hidden gem of Grampian's Crown. At present it measures 5, 350 yards with a par of 69. It is a very good test for all classes of golfers. It is a parkland course with undulating greens that requiring accurate approaches. If you fail to find the greens in regulation you might have a hard time getting up and down. All in all, a great test amid great scenery. |
