Situated just four miles north west of the city centre of Aberdeen is this delightful course.

Hazelhead Public Courses are home to three layouts, the MacKenzie Championship, Pines and Hazlehead 9 Holer.

MacKenzie Championship, is generally regarded as one of the finest courses in the northeast of Scotland, designed by Dr Alister MacKenzie, the man responsible for the treacherous Augusta National.

Essentially, it provides a real test of your shot making skills with gorse and woodland the hazards for any wayward shots, and while the scenery here is there to enjoy, spend too much time taking it in, and you could pay the price.

It is manicured to perfection with super smooth greens, making it a must-play for golf enthusiasts. They will enjoy the clubhouse, too, which is a classy piece of work overlooking the 18th green.
