Since opening in 2001, Fyvie Golf Club has made a name for itself as one of Aberdeenshire’s foremost ‘hidden gems’. A pay and play venue, situated just south of the picturesque village of Fyvie and only 28 miles from the centre of Aberdeen, the nine-hole Fyvie golf course offers a fair test of golf for both high and low handicappers alike. As well as a challenging round, the course also affords stunning views over the North-East countryside and some of its most notable landmarks, including the majestic Fyvie Castle and the magnificent Bennachie. Watch out for the appropriately named “Llama Leg”. The 475-yard seventh hole is skinny from fairway to green and strewn with danger. GREEN FEE KEY: £1-£15=£ £16-£30 = ££ £31-£50 = £££ £50+ =££££ |
