Founded in 1903, it takes its name from the river valley which climbs westward from Aberdeen into the beautiful hill country of Braemar and Balmoral. The club has its home on the lower reach of the River Dee at Bieldside, about five miles from the city. The clubhouse commands a lovely view of the river, the surrounding woods and of the Kincardineshire hills on the opposite bank.
The nine-hole Blairs course measures 5, 581-yards and contains seven holes from the original 18-hole course. Different tees are provided at each hole for the second nine, which makes this course an excellent alternative to its bigger brother. GREEN FEE KEY: £1-£15=£ £16-£30 = ££ £31-£50 = £££ £50+ =££££ |
