Founded in 1905, the original concept of Banchory was to provide the villagers of Banchory with a place to play golf.

As Banchory has grown so has its golf course and recently the course has been extensively remodelled by renowned Scottish golf course architect John Souter Set above the bonnie banks of the Royal river - The River Dee - this picturesque par 18-hole golf course offers a challenge to golfers of all standards.

Strategically placed bunkers, mature native trees and the "magnetic" River Dee provide obstacles that can test even the most accomplished player.
