Auchenblae is a short but demanding nine-hole course hidden away in rural Aberdeenshire. It is, however, easily accessible from the A90. Boasting picturesque views of the local countryside and beyond, this course is rather pleasing on the eye - that doesn't mean it can't throw up a challenge or two.
Small hard-to-hit greens are a famous feature of this course and many find getting on the green in regulation a common problem - even the regulars. It is an absolute joy to play in the summer months and is one of the more popular nine-holers in the Northeast. The course record of 60, though, will taking some beating.
